L'Agence d'Attractivité de l'Alsace a le plaisir d'être partenaire de l'

AFRICA BUSINESS DAY
qui se tiendra le 5 octobre 2016
à Reinach près de Bâle.

Organisé par le Swiss African Business Circle, cet événement sera l'occasion pour les entreprises alsaciennes présentes de rencontrer les dirigeants d'entreprises suisses et les représentants des Ambassades des pays africains et d'échanger avec eux sur les opportunités d'affaires et d'investissements proposées.

Le sujet principal de cette session sera la diversification économique et plus spécifiquement l'impact de la baisse du prix des marchandises. Des conférences, des tables rondes et des ateliers pratiques sont organisés pour montrer des exemples concrets d'actions organisées dans ce contexte de diversification économique.

Toutes les conférences auront lieu en anglais.

A l'issue de la journée, une visite de l'entreprise Endress+Hauser sera proposée aux participants.

The AFRICA BUSINESS DAY is the indispensable annual platform in Switzerland for doing business in and with Africa. It brings together CEOs, members of the Board, business development managers, export managers, investors and representatives of African Embassies/Missions to exchange on the issues that affect them directly in their day-to-day business.
 
This year, SABC is organizing the 4^th edition of the AFRICA BUSINESS DAY at Endress+Hauser in Reinach (near Basel). 150 participants representing a variety of sectors are expected to attend this edition. Embassies of African countries will also have desks in the exhibition area to present trade and investment opportunities in their respective countries.

THEME FOR 2016: ECONOMIC DIVERSIFICATION - WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR SWISS COMPANIES?
 
The AFRICA BUSINESS DAY 2016 will focus on the opportunities and challenges that are emerging for Swiss businesses in the context of economic diversification. Falling commodity prices are having a negative effect on African economies and measures are being put into place to counteract this – what does this mean for Swiss businesses? Various formats including keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops will showcase concrete examples of how Swiss companies are operating in the context of economic diversification.
 
Following the event, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a company visit at Endress+Hauser.

DATE AND TIME: 5 October 2016; the registration desk open at 8:30am and the event officially ends at 3:00pm. The company visit is optional.
